IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field is required. A doctoral degree in education is strongly preferred.
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualifications, preferably with experience in both primary and secondary education.
- At least 12 years of experience as an educator, and 5 years of experience as superintendent (or equivalent), with a proven track record of leadership at the PreK-12 level.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Principal, or senior administrator in an international school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong background in school growth and development, including experience in enrollment management, facilities development, and leading schools through periods of growth.
- Experience with international curricula (such as IB, British, Advanced Placement, or American systems) is preferred, along with a strong understanding of global education trends.
- Proven ability to foster positive relationships with parents, faculty, students, and the wider community.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including local and expatriate communities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership and Vision: Lead the school as its chief administrator, collaborating with the Board to drive strategic growth, academic excellence, and operational success while fostering a shared commitment to its mission and ensuring a smooth, sustainable transition into a thriving international institution.
- Academic Leadership: Drive the development and continuous enhancement of a rigorous, internationally aligned curriculum that fosters academic excellence, integrates 21st-century skills, and supports both student success and teacher growth through high-quality instruction and assessment.
- Community and Relationship Building: Foster a positive, inclusive school culture by building strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, engaging with the diverse school community, and developing strategic partnerships to enhance the school's growth and reputation.
- Operational and Financial Management: Manage the school's daily operations, finances, and staffing while ensuring effective policies, resource allocation, and professional development to promote sustainability, safety, and excellence.
- School Growth and Development: Drive the school's growth by leading student recruitment and retention, overseeing facility expansion, and implementing marketing strategies to enhance its local and international reputation.
- Cultural and Social Leadership: Foster an inclusive, student-centered school culture that celebrates diversity, promotes global citizenship, and supports students' well-being and personal growth.
