POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Consultant to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be expected to provide expert care in pediatric and/or emergency medicine, support junior medical staff, and actively contribute to clinical quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and emergency settings
  • Serve as a clinical leader and role model within the multidisciplinary team
  • Supervise, teach, and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students
  • Participate in departmental audits, quality improvement programs, and continuing education
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and SCFHS standards
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong clinical acumen and leadership skills
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and safety
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in culturally diverse environments
  • Medical Board Certification in Pediatrics
  • Certification must be obtained from a first-tier country (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) in accordance with SCFHS classification
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience following board certification
  • Eligible for licensure and classification as a Consultant by SCFHS
