POSITION OVERVIEW

The EEC/Elementary Principal of Teaching and Learning will be responsible for providing dynamic leadership to teachers, students, and parents across all school programs, activities, and subjects. This role focuses on fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth for every student. The principal will inspire collaboration, guide instructional practices, and cultivate strong partnerships with families to ensure a supportive and enriching educational experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Advocate for the school’s vision and values, promoting a positive culture.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, students, and parents.
• Coordinate assemblies and offer counseling support to staff.
• Plan, organize, and lead various school events and activities.
• Stay current on instructional techniques and curriculum developments.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve instructional practices.
• Build and maintain strong communication and relationships with parents.
• Administer programs in accordance with school policies and Board procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of instruction using feedback and data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Master’s Degree in Education.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Skills:
  • Demonstrates ability to lead and work with sensitivity to unique and multicultural perspectives.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
