Residential Electrical Service Manager

Position Overview

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the electrical trade and knows how to run a team. An established residential electrical company near Auburn, Georgia needs an experienced operator to take daily operations off the owner's plate.

You'll lead four technician crews across several service areas — hiring, coaching, scheduling, and holding your teams accountable day in and day out. You'll also stay close enough to the sales conversations to support quoting and occasional ride-alongs, even though the truck techs handle the actual quotes.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Manage and lead the technician teams — currently four crews.
• Own day-to-day people management: hiring, coaching, accountability, and scheduling.
• Build a bench of strong, reliable technicians the business can count on.

Sales Support

• Understand the sales process well enough to support quoting conversations.
• Join occasional ride-alongs alongside the sales team.
• Help techs and truck leads read the customer and handle objections — you won't own quoting, but you'll know it cold.

Operations

• Run scheduling and dispatch through Service Titan.
• Keep daily operations running smoothly across multiple service areas.
• Serve as the go-to point of contact when something needs a decision.

Qualifications

Experience

• 8–10 years of business management experience, ideally in electrical or home services.
• 2–3 years of hands-on electrical experience. You don't need to be licensed, but you need to know the trade well enough to lead people who do it.
• A solid track record managing people — close to 8–10 years, in electrical, home services, or another industry.

Technical Knowledge

• Working knowledge of residential electrical service work.
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus, not a requirement.

Leadership & Communication

• Comfortable running crews day to day — hiring, coaching, and holding people accountable.
• Confident in sales conversations: quoting, objection handling, and reading a customer.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based near Auburn, Georgia, with regular travel across the company's service areas to support crews in the field. You'll work standard business hours, with the flexibility to jump on a ride-along or handle a scheduling issue when the day calls for it.
