POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Director – Germany is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall operational, commercial, and strategic performance of the German business entity within a global heavy industrial projects organization. The role carries full accountability for business unit leadership, including profit and loss performance, project execution excellence, organizational development, and sustainable market growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and develop the German business unit with full operational & commercial oversight
Drive P&L performance and ensure sustainable growth
Oversee execution of complex heavy industrial projects
Strengthen project governance, risk management and operational discipline
Build and lead high-performing technical and project teams
Support international collaboration across global operations
Develop strategic relationships with key clients in heavy industry sectors

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience leading a business unit or major project division within heavy industry
Experience operating in complex EPC or industrial project environments
Demonstrated P&L responsibility
Solid operational leadership track record
Engineering background preferred
Fluency in German and English required
