POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Vice President of Operations (Office of the CEO), you will act as a right-hand partner to the CEO, helping drive execution, optimize operations, and expand the company’s vision. Your role will encompass everything from strategy implementation and business operations to overseeing philanthropic and impact-driven initiatives in Kenya. This is a high-execution role for someone who can align business goals with operational efficiency, ensuring that every function runs at peak performance while also identifying key philanthropic projects that align with our mission to create impact in Kenya.

This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the CEO’s strategic partner, ensuring business priorities are executed flawlessly.
Turn company goals into operational roadmaps, playbooks, and measurable outcomes.
Implement efficient, scalable, and repeatable processes to move the company from startup to enterprise mode.
Establish and refine key operational metrics, dashboards, and performance KPIs.
Identify bottlenecks, eliminate inefficiencies, and streamline operations.
Identify, evaluate, and oversee donation-driven and social impact initiatives in Kenya.
Ensure strong P&L management, cost efficiency, and revenue scalability.
Recruit, develop, and align top-tier talent with company objectives.
Ruthlessly prioritize, remove blockers, and drive rapid operational improvements.
Synchronize efforts across multiple departments for maximum efficiency.
Manage CEO priorities, meetings, and execution of key initiatives.
Work closely with external partners, donors, and investors for company growth and philanthropic impact.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years in management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or high-growth operations.
Experience in process optimization, automation, and scaling businesses from $10M to $100M+.
Expertise in KPIs, dashboards, financial modeling, and data-driven operations.
Ability to drive multiple high-impact projects at an elite pace.
Experience hiring, leading, & developing high-performance teams.
Comfortable with automation, SaaS tools, & workflow optimization.
Ability to see both the macro & micro, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
